Abhijit Datey: Tokyo, Kanto, Japan; I am living a life with extreme curiosity, constantly looking outward, feeling the world around me, trying to understand its meaning and documenting my understanding of it through various ways. I am an Architect and Housing Planner by profession, but currently I am pursuing a PhD in Urban Engineering from University of Tokyo,Japan. My major interests include Literature, Music, Language and Culture. Academically, I am much interested in Ancient Indian Architecture, Housing Design and Policies, Urban Poverty, Land Markets, Land Management and Public Finance. Although this blog cannot be categorized as completely academic or non-academic. It consists of many memories, learnings and thoughts, my own and others by whom I have been inspired in my life. It is exactly as its name suggests - "Zigzag".
